Hiya.
I just wanted to let you know that some of my old themes will be uploaded to GitHub. The first one (it’s basically my current theme) is already up.

Some awesome themes by some cool peeps. Especially liking Matthew’s and Peter’s themes. The themes with a blue ribbon are premium themes.
Go buy if you want to add some beauty to your tumblog.

Back in January I revamped my website using Textpattern as the core and I used it as a blog as well. Up until now that is. I closed down that blog, but not my Textpattern installation, after I decided that I love Tumblr too much to be able to leave it.
Tumblr will now be my only way of blogging (kinda) and I am proud of saying this:
My Textpattern installation will now work like a great and fast way of keeping track of my main site and its subdirectories, e.g. /about, and I have no intention of leaving it just because I’m not using it for a blog.
A thumb up to you, Tumblr.
Neglect.
Fail to care for properly; not pay proper attention to; fail to do something.
This is what has happened here and I can’t explain my absence. I haven’t been busier than usual, nor have I been sick so I guess I’ve just been lazy. I am not only treating you badly by not writing and sharing what I love, it is also bad for me. As Amine says:
I can’t keep stuff for myself because that is not the way life is meant to be.
Having stuff bottled up inside only fuels aggression and depression, both of which I try to avoid as best I can. Writing and sharing what I think, as I do even by reblogging, feels great and is one of the reasons I keep writing; both on and offline, publicly and privately.
Let me know when I start neglecting everything again.

Amine Benboubker is both a talented photographer as well as a friend of mine so I couldn’t say no when he wanted to use my Tumblr theme.
The cost? A homemade ratatouille when I visit France the next time. It’s hard to beat that.
